Made my first set of setting triangles ever!!! I have used 60 degree angles to quilt handbags with criss- cross lines, but not for quilt piecing. Trimming the corners as I did with the vortexes really helped line up the pieces for assembly. I can't wait to assemble the quilt top. I am going to mix up the vortexes and setting triangles to see what the best color combo is. Then make my decision if I'll change or go with the original design that I printed out.
